Hampton Inn & Suites South Bend

Nice proximity to ND, as we were here for FB game. Nice touch with FB snacks, popcorn, and cookies. Good value for the price Breakfast selection was quite good and dining area clean Front desk employees were friendly and very helpful.

The beds and their sheets were very clean and comfortable. The services offered, free and diverse breakfast options, swimming pool, and fitness room, were very enjoyable. The TV channel selections were great for the whole family. We loved the extra towels and free amenities in the bathroom. We loved the mini fridge because it was large and spacious to hold many different items. We loved the plug-in charging ports for USBs cables; it came in handy when we forgot our wall plug-in. The heating unit worked super well and didn't run too often. The curtains worked very well for blocking out any light when closed. We loved the amount of lighting fixtures offered in the room, although we wish there was a dimmer switch for a light somewhere in the room for our kids to feel less nervous at night.

Most of it was very good. There were a few things we didn't care for. Egg scramble mix was amazing and waffles good as well as drink options

I have multiple allergies to cleaners fragrances etc and we were traveling with 2 pets. Our room was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. My husband is 6’6” and the shower head was not at his chest! I always choose Hampton Inn over any other.

Brooke greeted us with a smile, thanked us for our loyalty as a Hilton Honors members, and offered us two bottles of water - which we gratefully accepted! Her professionalism, compassion, and welcoming sure made a world of difference to us as weary travelers! The hotel’s location is great, walking distance to a handful of places for food and coffee, the rooms were neat, bedding comfortable, and although sold-out, we really didn’t hear much from other guests, so good soundproofing! Good channel selection, decent Wi-Fi, great hot water!
